Getting Things in Order

We are about halfway done building the 2019, Summer Collection, and I am pretty geeked. At the end of summer 2018, we had our first pieces of clothing sampled. After receiving the first two samples, I made some small adjustments and had our vendor move forward with the full production of our summer tankz. Vibin’ in Cali & Rebel Mindz are the two tankz we ran. The vendor had a minimum order of 100 pieces per design, but I was able to negotiate them down to 70 pieces per design, to keep cost down. Working with our vendor for the first time, was definitely a learning experience. The hardest problem I faced with the vendor, was matching up the color of what I created vs. what was physically manufactured. I learned if you can send your overseas vendors a pantone code, things run a lot smoother, in regards to getting the color you want.

The initial plan was to start selling the tankz spring 2019, but we felt like the two tankz wasn’t enough to make an impressionable launch. Currently we are in the final stages of having two Teez produced (Monkey Tee & Questionz & Dollaz). There were just a few touch ups that needed to be made with the measurements and colors. Currently the Teez are up on our shop for Pre Order, and we will have them stocked come April, 2019.
